We are proud to partner with the Greenhouse Center for Environmental Humanities at the University of Stavanger.

The Greenhouse Center for Environmental Humanities is a research center at the University of Stavanger which supports and grows a community of academics using history, literature, media, religion, philosophy, and art to understand how humans relate to environments. As an intellectual meeting place, we want to build connections between academics, museums, interest groups, and the public who are interested in environmental issues.

The Centre for Environmental Humanities welcomes collaborations and partnerships with organisations and people from near and far who share our goals of:

  • sharing and developing expertise on humanity’s interactions with nature through history, literature, and lived experience
  • promoting collaboration and conversation
  • highlighting opportunities for working together in academic fields that have traditionally relied on individual researchers pursuing isolated projects
